// FEATURED RELEASES //
My Precious Little One by Rick Springfield
Amanda Leigh by Mandy Moore
Fantasies by Metric

Purchase or Listen to Samples at Amazon.comRick Springfield released a new CD recently, titled My Precious Little One. The album consists of lullabies written for his children when they had trouble sleeping. The CD is full of mellow, relaxing songs. No songs really jump out at me, but if you're into this sort of thing, or if you have young kids, I'm sure you'll enjoy them.

Purchase or Listen to Samples at Amazon.comMandy Moore has released Amanda Leigh, although this was a few months ago....
I saw her perform "I Could Break Your Heart Any Day Of The Week" on Ellen, and I had it stuck in my head for the rest of the day, so I knew that this was a CD to check out. Slightly whimsical and easygoing, these songs may not become your favorites, but I think they're well worth a listen. Overall, the album is quite pretty.
(TRIVIA: The tracks end with a song called "Bug", which is her husband's nickname for her.)

Fantasies by Metric caught my attention through a CW promotional video of the Vampire Diaries. The song didn't immediately catch my attention, as I was too interested in what the video was showing (more on that in my next post), but my second time watching, it made me very curious. This CD is very youthful, it makes me feel alive, happy, and wonderful. I haven't felt this way in a while, and it is DEFINITELY worth a listen, or a purchase.
